Condition: Image is very clean, the paper has some tears to outer sheet away from the image area. The drawing is matted in an acid free cream matt with acid free foam core backing.

About: Mary Hoare was an English painter, she was the daughter of William Hoare of Bath RA, English portrait artist as well being Prince Hoare's sister, who the latter had a strong influence on her.
She displayed works at the Society of Artists of Great Britain and at the Free Society of Artists, most of her known works deal with scenes of Shakespearean plays, which is were she was so heavily influenced by her brother. The Yale Centre of British Art holds a collection of her works as well as being held within private collections worldwide.
