About: Photographed circa 1915 by Norman Lindsay in the garden of his Springwood residence, Lindsay was arguably Australia's foremost figurative painter of the 20th century. This is a later print part of a limited edition of 150 by Robert C Littlewood from Lindsay’s original lost glass negatives. The image is signed and numbered verso on the print.

The lost glass negatives are a collection of negatives that were later found. These would have formed an important part of his painting reference material and also documented life around the property.

A copy of this print is held in the Art Gallery of Ballarat.
